• “Education is more than just the acquisition of knowledge; it is the preparation for life”

DPS Aligarh was founded in 1998 with the goal of providing a global standard of education in his own city, a dream envisioned by Shri Pawan Jain, Chairman of the Pavna Group. It was the first step of Pavna group in the sphere of education. Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, it strives to inculcate in the students, the top attributes required today, such as open mindedness, multicultural attitude, independence, global vision, multiple intelligences and abilities.

It is the ideal setting for holistic learning because it is situated amidst a sprawling area. It has consistently worked to inspire its students to achieve academic success in all areas of study as part of its commitment to provide the highest quality education possible with the aid of contemporary infrastructure, traditional values and morals. It has received an award from the British Council's International Dimensions in Schools (ISA), twice in a row for its exceptional contribution to the growth of global dimensions in the curriculum.

It is also the only school in the city to be accredited by the ISO in regard to Quality Management System and Environmental Management Systems, helping to ensure that all of its students graduate as law-abiding, responsible citizens of the country.

  • The school's motto is "Service before self," and its mission is to provide Student - centered educational opportunities that push every learner to reach their full potential. This mission is represented by the school's annual list of board exams’ performers every year in terms of District and State levels. With the celebration of Silver Jubilee next year, the school is prepared to adopt new strategies and student-friendly activities in order to guarantee a high standard of education for its pupils. It has a team of knowledgeable, skilled, and devoted faculty to develop students academically, socially, and emotionally thus creating a transformative learning experience for students, focusing on deep disciplinary knowledge, problem solving, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, so that they are prepared to tackle real life challenges.
